This page is for the Udufood app. Use it to request deletion of some personal data while keeping your account, or to close the account entirely. You do not need to stay signed in to send a request.
Delete some data, keep your account
You can ask us to remove specific data without deleting your Udufood account.
- Email support@udufood.com with the subject Udufood data deletion.
- Include your registered mobile number (with country code, e.g. +65…).
- Say what to remove, for example: profile photo, display name, location history, a food listing, or a review. Write Please keep my account so we do not close it.
We will confirm by email and complete the request within 30 days. Your remaining account, phone number, and login stay active.
In the app you can also turn off location history and replace or remove your profile photo without contacting us.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open Udufood and sign in with your mobile number.
- Go to Profile or Account settings.
- Choose Delete account and type DELETE to confirm.
Option 2 — Email us
Send a message from the phone number on your account to support@udufood.com with the subject line Udufood account deletion. Include:
- The mobile number registered on the account (with country code, e.g. +65…)
- Whether you are a receiver or a restaurant
- The words Please delete my Udufood account
We will confirm by email and complete deletion within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your account, mobile number, and display name
- Profile photos, food listing photos, and saved location history
- Claims, listings, reviews, and in-app notifications tied to your account
- Sign-in tokens so the account cannot be used again
What we keep, and for how long
- Receivers: personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised claim totals (no name or phone) may be kept for impact reporting.
- Restaurants: public profile, photos, and donation history are deleted. UEN and business contact details may be kept for 90 days for tax records, then removed. Sponsored-meal payout records may be kept for 7 years where Singapore company law requires it.
Need a copy of your data first? Email support@udufood.com or use data export in the app, then request deletion.
